Chapelton Gem 5651 EX-94
Gem was purchased from centre of the renown Chapelton Herd with the help of Donald Biggar. She is one of the main foundation cows we purchased when setting up our herd. At the same time we purchased a Chapelton Princess Royal and a Chapelton Waterloo heifer. The Gem and the Waterloo cows have produced a large quantity of excellent females for our herd.
Waukaru 12H Melita Rose 5021
We brought Melita Rose’s genetics into our herd through our ET program. Melita Rose has been one of the main donor cows in North America and she is a daughter of the great Crooked Post Boston Bodacious, and she is the dam of Waukaru Patent who has proved the ability to transmit superior performance into his progeny. Patent’s steers have tested as the most profitable within a controlled trail with a 100% USDA choice quality grade.
Sprys Miss Buddy M36
Miss Buddy was the number 1 Donor at Sprys Shorthorns, Australia. A customised flush with Royalla Rembrandt was carried out for Mayfield Beef Shorthorns which resulted in 23 embryos harvested. Miss Buddy is the Dam of Sprys Goldenrod P39 who is breeding exceptionally well in Australia. Miss Buddy is moderate framed, deep, thick and extremely sound with excellent maternal traits. Our first embryo calves from this flush are showing great potential as are the first calves from Mayfield Rembrandt, our first Miss Buddy son. Miss Buddy was sold April 2023 for $95,000 AUD. Waukaru Red Nan 1049
We brought Red Nan’s genetics into our herd through our ET program Red Nan is a daughter of the great Waukaru Patent, and she is a full sister to Waukaru Orion who has outstanding EPD’s and he is ranked in the top 1% for weaning weights and the top 2% for yearling weights. Red Nan has outstanding style, depth and structure; all of these traits with her breeding will be passed onto her offspring with which ever sire used.
Mayfield Red Nan 0014 VG-88
Mayfield Red Nan 0014 is sired by Crooked Post Stockman 4Z and her dam is Waukaru Red Nan 1049. This bring together some of the best North-American genetics. Mayfield Red Nan combines correctness, thickness, high milk figures and an excellent udder. She has a very high EBV for EMA with good marbling. Her pelvis is exceptionally large which she seems to pass on to her offspring.
